Background
Having been a customer for years, we were excited to work for one of our favorite farms. New Natives is an organic farm leading the micro-greens scene in the Bay area of California. They approached us to design and develop a simple website that would communicate to users what they grow, their farm philosophy, farmers market locations, and a contact form to reach them directly.
Experience Guide
New Natives has a current workmark that we adore. It has so much character which is quite approiate for their brand. We worked off of this wordmark by interperting division lines and background boxes into brushstrokes. Sandra, one of the owners, had beautiful close-up photos of her micro-greens that we peppered into the site. Our typefaces of choice were fonts that could play well with the humanistic and expressive qualities of their workmark.
