Background
H&H is an ethical fishery providing the freshest seafood around. Their old website was outdated and it was time for an overhaul. We were stoked to work on this project because of the respect we have for their business practices. They needed a new website with information about their services, seafood, and locations. We photographed the majortiy of images throughout the website. We illustrated a few icons for the brand.
Experience Guide
Website Layout & Icon Illustration
H&H's business can be broken down into three channels of sales: a community supported seafood program (CSS), their habor shop, and farmers markets. We designed some detailed icongraphy around these three channels for H&H's asset library. We went with their insulated fish box as the icon for their CSS. The harbor shop is represented by an anchor, which is their home base. The farmers market icon was approriately a fish and other produce in a woven basket.
Typeface, Colors, & Feel
H&H's logo has alot of flare too it. The owners wanted to retain that feel throughout the websites design. We decied to utilize mixed typefaces and colors to add extra zest we felt from their identity mark. We appropriately choose an oceanic color pallete while adding a little flare through a lightly muted yellow. The end look has character while maintaining trust and integrity.
Photography
Photographs for H&H were taken around the harbor shop and farmers market. We focused our shots of subjects that were actually part of their business.
